What a week!!!
Home, finally! And best of all, Grama is home with me! Yay!! I had her to the DR a week ago Friday for her regular checkup. She had blood in her urine, so we knew her bladder polyps were acting up again, but otherwise she seemed well. She was complaining of a slight backache, but we thought that had to do with her bladder. The Dr. ordered labs, but the lab was closed by the time we got out of his office. Nothing seemed urgent at the time, so I planned to take her to the lab on tuesday. By the time tues. rolled around G was NOT well! She had lost her appetite! (We knew she was sick then, because that woman can EAT!!!)
I decided to take her into ER for the labs, and during the 8 hour wait in the ER, she got sick and I had to insist that they run the labs while we waited. They were very cool; esp. as there was a horrible child abuse case that came in while we were there. That poor little girl.
So G's hemoglobin (sp?) was waaay low! She'd been losing much more blood than we realized. The ER Dr. ordered 2 units, and then when he called her Primary, he added 2 unbits of whole blood transfusion to that! And they discovered that she was horribly impacted!!! I felt so bad for her. She hadn't complained about being constipated, and I always ask, but she's been able to take care of that stuff herself til now, so I didn't know!
Poor thing. They admitted her to deal with the impaction and do the cystoscopy. All went well, and she felt better by far after the transfusion.
It was hardest probably on me...LOL....running around worrying so! She was a happy camper in hospital, being waited on and having attention. I got to bring her home Saturday evening just in time to beat the traffic.
Thank Goddess for Brad. He is such a good friend. I stayed at his place to save miles and he even ran me around and to the hospital a few times. I missed my woman, my f and my birds so much! I'm so happy to be home!

Hey,
Glad to hear your grandmother is doing much better. I say you are glad to be back home, there is no place like it is there?
Hi Thorne,
I was reading your profile on clipmarks and just wanted you to know that I am constantly striving to be a better person every day. My goals are to see this world become a better place for all, even though it seems almost impossible to reach others at times.
