Altering the "Gay" Gene

It's so insane. Although the issues of self realization, coming out and living in this world can be difficult for us (Queer/LBGT), it is no-one's righ to try to "cure" what is not an "illness" Is it just me, but is this waaaay too Aldous Huxley?? Who remembers Brave New World ?
What they are talking about is genetic modification. Why not??!! While they're at it, let's genetically modify poor people's children to be dumb as rocks, therefor more suitable for only the most menial jobs....Although we should probably reserve a percentage to modify to be stronger, meaner, adrenaline junkies with a slight sociopathic streak to go fight wars....
Besides...do these people stop to think exactly who would do their hair, plan their weddings, and design their home decor if they eradicate the gay gene??
LOL. And can you imagine the drop in flannel shirt sales and male egos if they eradicate the lesbian gene?? LL Bean would go out of business!!! Straight men would no longer be able to salve their fragile egos by claiming "Dyke!" every time a hot babe turned them down!!!
LOL...
Oh, the ramifications!!!
Pity the poor fetus. There’s a lot coming its way. And now there’s talk on a conservative evangelical blog of a hypothetical hormone patch that an expectant mother might wear to eradicate her fetus’s natural gayness.
The patch, the biological determinism: It’s all conjecture, for now. But it hit like a theological IED when it turned up earlier this month on the blog of the Rev. R. Albert Mohler Jr., one of the leading voices of the 16 million-strong Southern Baptist Convention. He blogged on these issues under the appropriately provocative headline: “Is Your Baby Gay? What if You Could Know? What if You Could Do Something About It?” In his postings, he raises the possibility of a biological basis for homosexuality and prods his flock to think about how it should respond.
In an interview on Friday, Mohler said that Christian couples “should be open” to the prospect of changing the course of nature
“I think any Christian couple would want their child to be whole and healthy

Awww, they finally admit it's biological...but they can't have that...lol. A gene altering patch...I know people that can't get help from nicotine patches...lol. This is disgusting. Well, you already know what I'm getting ready to say...you've proven that I was born this way so obviously this is how it's supposed to be.
